A community for teacher-librarians and other educators

Hi everyone!

I'm a graduate student at SCILS, and will be graduating this May. I'm curious how teacher librarians integrate the library curriculum/information literacy within their schools? I've shadowed at a few different schools, and everyone seems to have a different approach. How do you ensure that all students are receiving the instruction they need before they graduate?

Do most schools incorporate grade level research projects through a subject area, like a big research project for all eighth graders, for example, or is it more random, with individual collaborations throughout the year with different teachers?

Thanks for sharing!
