The Nancy Pearl picture shown at our group was taken last year at TLA. You were there, remember? Here is a challenge for you though. Take a look at the picture that goes with my profile. Where am I and who does the statue depict?

Howdy one and all! Hope y'all are enjoying the cold week. I don't know about y'all but they actually closed our schools (Flour Bluff ISD) for Thursday and Friday. Sounds great in theory, but it really puts me behind!

Wow! I'm in San Antonio and we have not closed yet. No precipitation. Freezing, but no H20, so things go forward. Anyone going to TCEA next week?

Hello everyone! Is anyone going to be tweeting from TCEA? I really wish I could be there!

Hi Everyone! I'm in Austin for TCEA and spent a day in the Google Academy. I have a self grading template for testing with Google forms and some other great resources that I'll share on my wiki (don't look now it is out of date!) I'll put up the link later.

Hi Guys,

I'm also in Austin at TCEA. I went to a fabulous workshop yesterday about Office 2010 and the wonders of ONENOTE and Windows LIve. It was really great and I can share anytime. I went to a MAC podcasting class today....also really cool.

Mansfield University Scholarship Program – Begin in January 2012

In an ongoing effort to recruit a new generation of school library leaders, Mansfield University recently received a fifth Institute of Library and Museum Services (IMLS) grant to fund scholarships for its totally online School Library & Information Technologies Master of Education degree program with school library certification. If you know of an educator or non-certified librarian seeking school library certification, please pass along the news that we are still accepting applications for the spring 2012 semester.

The Master of Education program, ideally suited for working educators
with no time to drive to a university, offers a convenient and effective path to school library certification. For detailed information and contacts please refer to the Fulfilling the Promise homepage, at http://libweb.mansfield.edu/promise/, or contact Cynthia Keller, Department Chair ckeller@mansfield.edu
