I was an elementary school classroom teacher before having the good fortune to try out the LMC. I am working on my Masters in Ed. for school teacher-librarians but have already gotten away with 8 years of winging it as a school librarian. choices

I was wondering what user of this site think. Do you prefer using your blog or the comments to post in? A small consideration. Also on the issue of using an aggregator, do you prefer a desktop application or a web based one?

starting over

Here I was jazzing up my site and adding all kinds of posts and content, when lo and behold I quit Firefox and when I came back in it I found I was on an older version of my 21st C. site and a lot of my stuff was gone, including some of my friends! So I am starting again. Come back friends.

Reading in Farkas (pgs.58-59) about using RSS' in libraries to track books and the lack of privacy concerning info on your book choices did not settle well with me. Social software raises this issue for me in general. You just need to be cautious if there is info you are putting out there. Facebook is a great example as is myspace. Many users do not realize that everything they put on these sites is generally wide open.

This page is bugging out. I posted and clicked on post now and it keeps reverting to the future date and time option. THis is all after I seemingly had a whole other profile I was working on. This seems to be the one now. I will have to do some rebuilding.

This was taken at the famed San Francisco Exploratorium. This interactive science museum challenges your perceptions of reality. A good place to drink in the learning experience.
