Megan, Doug's web page is very helpful. I have done similar surveys in the past. I have also run focus groups, asking similar questions. Although I have run blogs on other subjects, they should work as a means of getting feedback on usage and attitu…

I am hoping to survey students and teachers about how they use and perceive the library. I want to use the results to improve my program and for advocacy reasons. Has anyone done a user survey? Any advice? Sample questions would be very useful!

In a middle school it would be really fun to put up author links--some of the authors have really fun pages. Enjoy.

Susan, I saw your post and was inspired to make my own page for my middle school library. So far I just have adults as fans (my relatives, some parents of students, two school board members) but I look forward to expanding it.

Our library has a Facebook page, and Facebook is not blocked at school. You can see our page here I love the idea of the drawing for gift certificates. We currently have 126 fans and are looking for more.
