M A G E E's Blog is my original blog and I don't feel like it gets any hits. It certainly doesn't get many comments. So, I'm writing about it here in hopes of gaining readership which will hold me more accountable for journaling on it. You can signup to have emails when I post something new.
The latest post is about the "Learning 2.0 A Colorado Conversation" Conference. You should check out if you don't already know about it

I don't remember how I came upon this site: Answer Board Librarians at WetPaint.com, but I signed up much like I do for others sites like this and then "sat on it" for a while. Takes me some time to get the feel for a site and decide to participate even if I am a member.
This site seems to be mostly participated in by public library staff, but why not have a school library contingent? Check it out and let me know what you think.

I am originally from Abbeville, small town south of Lafayette. I did my undergrad at UNO with a major in Speech/Theatre Ed. and a minor in Lib. Sci. Then when we moved to Houston I ended up in Spring Branch --- great place to work! I got my Masters from UNT, but haven't talked myself into going for that Doctorate yet ---- maybe one day!?! Do you enjoy CO after the flat lowlands of LA??? We lived in Knoxville, TN for a year, and absolutely loved it there! We would like to move back in the next couple of years, we just need to work up to the whole "moving" thing!!! It was great "hooking" up --- let's keep in touch, I love to hear from transplanted Louisianaians!
Thanks for hooking up with me on TeacherLibrarian Ning. I have enjoyed reading your posts, and I look forward to reading more. Stay warm in CO!!!
I didn't know you were part of the group...we should have been friends long ago! It looks like you have been busy with your pages. I alas have only posted a shell. Perhaps it will grow its own snail to crawl out?
