I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.

I hope your first week went well. Mine did. Overwhelming but wonderful. It's going to be an interesting year.
Miss you and thinking of you lots!
The 1st day of school for teachers is Sept. 3rd, then the kids have a 1/2 day on the 4th. New teacher training was August 23 & 24. Can you say overwhelmed? How about you? I'm going in for a few hours today to do some organizing/decorating and will post some photos soon. Nice to hear from you!
Thanks for becoming my "friend" - I think it is supposed to tell me that you accepted my friend request, but it did not. Anyhow, did you know your photo is on the home page?
Good luck with your new job- they are lucky to be getting such a hip, young librarian who's not afraid of technology!
Keep in touch. I'd like to be able to compare notes!
Nice to discover your smiling face amongst all the other names! So, have you settled down anywhere yet? I got a job as the librarian at the West Somerville Neighborhood, a small (enrollment of 344 students last year) k-8 public school. The commute will be an hour but I'm really excited about all that the Somerville district appears to offer both students and faculty!
