I was born in Mpls., and moved to CA after college in '75, where I met my husband. He was in the house, when I moved in. My aunt taught library school at Kent State, and becoming a librarian was the furthest thing in my mind. After all, what kind of job is that, just stamping cards and books? lol , 32 years later, look at me now!
I am a swimmer. I swim for Walnut Creek Masters. My freestyle relay came in first at Nationals in 05. We were ranked #1 in the world(FINA)
My daughter and I swim together. We received the first mother/daughter rookie of the year in '05. We still train every morning with our team and coaches at 5:30 am. Swimming, books, cats and chocolate; who could ask for anything more?
