Collaboration works both ways, and requires relationship to begin. Talk with your librarian and ask for services. You might meet resisitance but you can practice fighting such resistance even before you become a media spec. Tell the LMS what you are doing in your classroom. Ask for activities that are easy to do in the library but also fit your classroom objectives. Offer to develop ideas alongside the librarian. Teachers instigate collaboration no matter where they find the classroom.
