I am Cheryl Elizabeth Hill; married to Don Edward Hill. We have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. I have a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from the District of Columbia Teachers College (now the University of the District of Columbia) located in Washington, D. C. I have a M.A. in Education from the University of Texas. Additionally, through post graduate studies/trainings, I hold advanced certifications in Educational Administration and Librarianship. During the longevity of my career, I have successfully empowered children to read and achieve against all odds. My greatest accomplishment as an educator was the utilization of my longevity in education and my background as a classroom teacher, Campus-Based Instructional Specialist, and English as a Second Language teacher to spring board into the unique role of school librarian; it became the opportunity of a lifetime to simultaneously merge the love of reading instruction, love of books, love of writing, and the utilization of my educational administration certification with inspiring reading, teaching the access of information and technology, and management of the library into one role, school librarian.
