Me? Well....I've been a librarian for 24 years and I've worked in different types of libraries (public school, private school, academic, and at a special school for the blind). I currently write the "Digital Resources" column for School Library Journal and I'm always looking for something "new and exciting" to explore. I'm taking a break from the workforce for just a bit to decide what I REALLY like about this profession and focus just on that part. Why make life more complicated?
I'm contemplating starting my PhD in LIS....or writing a book...or becoming a library consultant...or, well...you get the picture. Love the profession, love the challenges, need inspiration to keep myself motivated. I'm a "professional student" who has to work in order to put two kids through college (and one more in about 8 years!)
