About Me:
I am the new (Fall of 2007) librarian in a small K-8 public school in Somerville, Massachusetts. My passions (besides books) are Red Sox baseball and spending time at Cape Cod! I recently got my MLS from Simmons College in Boston but have worked in the library field for almost 20 years.

Hi Kim,

Yes, I'm still living in Somerville and looking for a school library position. I just saw the one in Somerville posted. Do you know which school?

Also, what's your email address? And how are you doing?!

Thanks so much for thinking of me,
Amy

Hi Kim! Thanks for writing me. Everything is going the same as it always has - which is partly okay, and partly not okay. But whatever - that's life! I hope all is well with you! Tell joyce I said hi (or maybe I should just email her :) Hope you're having a great summer! ~melissa

Hello kim! I am very anxious and excited to hear how your new job in Somerville is going! Is it going okay so far? Is the commute killing you yet? I hope you are getting to see some of my old kiddos - I miss them...

Hey Kim! Are you gearing up for the year?

Hi!! I just had a job interview for a position called "library assistant" but which was actually for an elementary school librarian. I think it was called "assistant" because it was both a temporary and a part-time postion, but there was nothing "assistant"-y about it. Anyway, I didn't get it, and I'm mad. There was only *one* other person who applied, too.

Hey Kim! I'm back in Jackson Hole, and gearing up for the school year. I'm going to be teaching 3-5th grade, and have great support and a fabulous library. I'm so excited! Thanks for finding me...I hope to use this for some support as I start out this year.

I'll definitely stop by. I'm living in Davis Square now, so I'll be close. I'm doing one practicum at Cambridge Rindge and Latin and the other at Amigos/MLK and Taking Management at the same time. I'm so excited (albeit a little nervous). I still have yet to hear who will be advising these for me. What was the large scale project you did for the practica? I have yet to figure out what I'm going to do....
