I work in a one school rural district in SW Colorado as the District/middle/high school librarian. I also teach two yearbook/newspaper classes and 8th grade technology. In my free time I enjoy outdoor actitities such as soccer, snowboarding, dirt biking and boating.

Laura's presentation was really good-- I've got the handouts, so I'll send them over to you. I also picked up good info at the Poetry Slam 101 and Anime workshops that I hope to use, but other than that... a little disappointing for the school librarians once again.

I hope you are able to come to the CAL conference this week. If so, be sure to come to the Saturday 1PM session for school librarians--the CASL association.

I work for CAL/CASL and love to see the library community gathered!

Busy busy busy... and somehow, not missing the schoolwork at all! I'm really enjoying the job right now. I'm taking on more and more, too, although no teaching classes on a regular basis as of yet, thank goodness. That is still very much an epidemic in this district.

We should get some of the other old classmates on here!
