Thanks for your sweet support!!! I am in the middle of a few deadlines. Could we write the article together? Maybe arrange a Skype call?

Reading through the numerous blogs that I belong to I came across information on the new Dublin City Public Libraries Portal: P.
It contains a lot of Web 2.0 technology. While I would not recommend that we adopt anything similar in schools it does offer a view of the type of software that we could incorporate into our websites. If you are interested in taking a spin:

Thanks for the warm welcome and the nice comments about Infosearcher. I have to admit I give my print newsletter more attention than my blog - I think I'm going to make it my New Year's resolution -- blog more!
I read your blog and related to it immediately. I just showed 2 of Michael Wesch's YouTube videos to workshop participants and they loved- it created good discussion.
Do you live in Vancouver, BC? The reason I ask is that I'm visiting in April to do an all day workshop for school librarians. In fact, I'll be in Canada the full week of April 14-18 -- I'm starting in Winnipeg on Monday, going to Regina on Tuesday, Edmonton on Wednesday, Calgary, Thursday and finishing on Friday in Vancouver. Each day I'm doing a workshop, "21st Century Strategies to Strengthen your School Library" -- it's with BER, a US speaker's bureau.
If you don't mind I would like to email you in a month or two to pick your brain about school libraries in Canada; it would help me prepare for my workshops.
