(2 PDPs) This afternoon specifically for librarians will include a presentation on the fine art of the picture book in the Auditorium, an opportunity to learn about and visit the Barbara Elleman Research Library, time to browse the Museum, and free materials for your libraries. Afternoon refreshments will be followed by a program by Anita Silvey.
Schedule:
10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Come early and browse the Museum. Admission Fee waived for librarians for the entire day.
3:00 – 4:00 pm
Presentation by Nick Clark, Chief Curator at The Carle
4:00 – 4:30 pm
Visit the Museum’s Barbara Elleman Research Library and enjoy light refreshments in the Café.
4:30 – 5:30 pm
Presentation by Anita Silvey, Children’s and Young Adult book expert and editor of Everything I Needed to Know I Learned From a Children’s Book.
