My high school has purchased 1 Kindle and 1 Nook to test. However, they both require credit cards. Our district will only allow POs to be set up with an account, not a credit card. How do other schools deal with this issue?

Thank you!

I don't have a Kindle or Nook but I have talked to librarians who do. They say that you can download the first one or two chapters of a book for free to see if you really want to buy the book....they like this so they don't waste money on a book they don't like. Also at my school the principal and all the administration has access to a school credit card - you may want to put in a p.o. and once it is ok'd pay for it with the school credit card (just a thought).
