I've been asked to join my district's task force that will be evaluating/implementing our move from Alexandria to Destiny this summer. Any thoughts?

I don't know anything about Alexandria, but my district uses Destiny (in combination with Follett) and I love it! Follett makes collection development very simple because Follett catalogs all titles in the library and alerts you if you already have a title so you don't buy duplicates. Destiny itself has a student friendly version called Destiny Quest; my students love it. There is also a Destiny Quest app that is easy and simple to use.
Like I said, I cannot compare to Alexandria, but I am more than happy with Destiny personally!
I am in a school using Destiny and I like it. I have used other systems including Polaris and Destiny is not the stand out but it isn't awful. There is a big update coming August of 2016 that I think will make some needed improvements in overall functionality.
I've been using Destiny since I first became a librarian, nearly 10 years ago (and across two different school systems). I think that it's a fine system! Destiny is associated with Follett, and this means -- since they are large vendor for my current school system -- that I have tremendous flexibility re seeing what's available (via the Titlewave book catalog), making choices (I have my own library's e-shelf for my e-book purchases, if I choose to buy e-books), creating and managing reports, cataloging donated (or other) materials, creating library cards and debt notices, and a million other different types of tasks. I love using Destiny!, and I think that you all will, too.
