I don't know about your school but in mine teachers are very reluctant to infuse technology into their lessons due to planning time constraints and lack of experience with technology. I am planning a 10 minute session once a month at the faculty meetings to introduce teachers to new tools and techniques that I have found to make their lives easier.  Then if they want to sign up for a later more indepth session, I will make myself available after school to provide assistance.

I completely understand your frustration.  I use to be in a similar environment.  I have known several school librarians who do a session like you are planning at faculty meetings... The Library Minute....Library Tech Tip of the Month, etc.

You might also want to start a twitter feed to disseminate information to your staff with links to websites, blogs, etc. that you feel they could benefit from....

If your teachers are not familiar with how to use Twitter you could refer them to my Professional Development YouTube Channel at: http://www.youtube.com/user/AlabamaEdTechPD

I had to chuckle at your suggestion. It is a good one but most of our staff can barely check their email. I am starting a blog for students and wikis for students and staff this year. Guess I'll just have to see how it goes.
