Top K-4 Recent Reads

I just received confirmation that I will be moving to a K-4 building this fall. Can you share with me your top 10 books from the last 2-3 years for this age group in any genre. (Fiction/Informational/PictureBook/Graphic Novels...) I hope to do some power reading over the next few weeks and I looking to create a list of titles to start with so I can begin the school year knowing some of the best of the newer titles. Thanks. :)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, Bone series, Goosebumps series, Animals, Sports, Tim O'Shei -- ***True Tales of Survival**, Invention of Hugo Cabret & Wonderstruck, World Mythology series, Fancy Nancy series, Biscuit series, Magic Tree House series....just a few to start with! Good luck!

Students really enjoy books on Sharks, Titanic, I Spy, and Guinness World Record books.
