If I gave you $3,000-$6,000 for your library, what would you do with it?

I actually have this wonderful problem, and I have a meeting with the principal next week to discuss how I would like to spend it.  We don't have a budget at all, so this is quite huge.  However I don't want to necessarily spend it on books.

I would love to hear your dreams and ideas!

Wow!! Definitely an amazing problem to run into.  :)  In my dist. we're thinking a lot about collaborative learning spaces and the way our rooms/libraries are arranged. You may have seen a lot of articles on this subject recently; it seems to be a hot-button issue these days. This is a free e-book on the subject that might be helpful since you said you weren't necessarily thinking about just books: http://www.educause.edu/LearningSpaces  One really cool we like a lot is the Idea Paint: http://www.ideapaint.com/work/ideapaint/
