A community for teacher-librarians and other educators

Last year, I did my initial orientation using Project Runway as a metaphor for the Big6, showing library tools for each step along the way. The presentation went well ( I work in an all girls school!), and I was pleased with the concept. Unfortunately, Project Runway did not air this summer and I do not think incoming freshmen will have seen the previous shows. So I am thinking of a new idea and have come up lacking. I have a Jeopardy game, I have an online scavenger hunt, but does anyone have other ideas?

Thanks.

No ideas- (not even a runway) but I would love to see what the other folks offer. I have just been offering workshops (like copyright, plagiarism and research skills) then incorporating library skills along the way. Not so creative as you!
How about "Are you smarter than a librarian?" You could get a cohort of seniors to dress up as librarians.
