I'm redesigning my library. I've done the research and now I'm working on the budget. I would like to tour tri-state-area library media centers (or public library teen spaces) that would consider themselves cutting edge, 21st century, hi-tech, etc. It's my first time doing something like this and I want to learn as much as I possibly can to do this right!
If you would be willing to chat with me about how YOU went about redesigning your space, or would even let me visit, please let me know. Or if you know of such a space that you recommend I visit, that would be great too! I'm in NJ.

Carina,
While we have not actually "redesigned" our library, it has substantially changed over the last 20 years. You are more than welcome to come and visit us!
We are a semi-rural High School with approx. 1300 students. Our library contains 23,000 books, 2000 DVDs and videos, and about 75 audio resources (CDs, Playaways). We have a bank of 30 student use desktops, one netbook cart and one laptop cart.
Feel free to contact me for more info.
