Florida Media Specialists

[Good Day]

I'm taking the FL Teacher Certification Exam for Ed Media Specialist in 10 days! As the lucky 13th of October approaches, I'm freaking big time! Help! Has anyone in the state taken the test recently and can share some words of encouragement?? Is there anyone near Orlando who's looking at that date and is available to study with me??

I'm not in your state, but the book the helped the most for taking my state's test was: Information Power: Building Partnerships and Learning. It pretty much covered everything that was on the test. If you don't get any answers from anyone else, this book would be a place to start.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write! That book/bible was recommended by a specialist here in Orlando and I found that in the countywide public library system, there was only one copy. It was listed as unavailable, not checked out, but location unknown. I called the branch where the copy was listed, and a very kind and helpful librarian went a-hunting! He came back to the phone triumphantly reporting that he held the copy in his hand and he would put in on hold for me!

I went into the exam yesterday feeling prepared and I feel certain of a positive outcome! Thanks again and have a wonderful school year!
