Name of Your School / Library / Organization:: I am the library media specialist in a small K-8 public school in Somerville, Massachusetts. My passions (besides books) are Red Sox baseball and spending time at Cape Cod! I got my MLS from Simmons College in Boston in 2007 but have worked in the library field for almost 20 years.

At 3:00pm on August 22, 2007, Melissa K. Miller said…: Hi!! I just had a job interview for a position called "library assistant" but which was actually for an elementary school librarian. I think it was called "assistant" because it was both a temporary and a part-time postion, but there was nothing "assistant"-y about it. Anyway, I didn't get it, and I'm mad. There was only *one* other person who applied, too.
