New stuff (at least for me!)

I have discovered some new 2.0 technologies that I have found useful. These include Clipmarks, Twitter, Secondlife (I need to learn more about this to use it well), del.icio.us and podcasting (I need to learn a lot more about this to be really useful.) I also was given the opportunity to do my first booktalk. It went well with one book of the two being taken out.

Footnote

I found a great website called Footnote. It is created and run in conjunction with the National Archives and is all pirmary source documents. It is worth checking out. The website is Footnote.com

All Alone

It looks like I will be by myself next year in a 900 student library. (The paraprofessional position is very likely to be cut.) Anyone have any advice as I close the year with help in preparation for next year?
