National Board Candidates

Hi Everyone...I just joined you from the beautiful Pacific Northwest. This year I will be working on my National Board Certification. Haven't had much luck finding online groups for this topic. Is anyone else in this group working on National Boards?

Welcome to the group. I am not going for National Board Certification, but good luck with that!
Check out my blog posting, if you are interested, on a 4th grade research collaborative project - we are looking for a school to join our project from your area!

Kristie, I live in the Pac. NW (Edmonds) and I am planning on wokring on NB's too.

I certified in 2005, and I enjoy mentoring current candidates. Feel free to contact me with any questions as you go through this year of EXCELLENT growth. NB is a wonderful experience full of challenges you never considered playing out for yourself. Trust me you will feel good once the entries are mailed, wonderful once the assessments are finished, AND very accomplished next year when you begin teaching. This is truly a life-changing experience.

Have you checked out the Yahoo group for school librarians/national board? It is a very good support group with archived files, and wonderful mentors. Search for it at Yahoo groups - library and national board.
