I just ordered 3 "Nooks" and one of the books on the order list was "Marcelo." I hope to share it with our Autistic Supporter teacher. Let me know what you think. Thanks for the other recommendations - more to add to my lists! Susan:)

I read Tales from Outer Suburbia this AM, and am now starting Marcelo in the Real World. Also have recently read Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers, which I found very powerful.

When I first read The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier I realized how excellent YA literature could be.

I put all my fiction and nonfiction on GoodReads too---it keeps a tally for you on what you have read, you can rate them and review them. Milly Neff is a member and one of our reviewers from Springfield Delco- I can't remember her name right now.
