Should we add themed discussions on #tlchat?

A number of the Twitter hashtag groups offer focused discussion over the course of a day or week.  Should we move #tlchat in that direction?

Take a look at this edchat reflection and a recent #edchat's poll for ideas.

Ideas, gang?

I haven't participated in edchat, but from reading about it, I think it would be a great idea to give the edchat model a try. How about simply announcing a first chat topic and time and see how it goes? Some topic possibilities might be "What are your new tech integration goals for this year?,"  "What are your advocacy plans for this year?," "Share one best practice idea" or "Share your favorite link of the day." The last of these topics might be a nice start since it would build a super paper.li edition for that day. I rarely seem to get to checking #tlchat during the day, but try to run thru the http://paper.li/tag/tlchat daily, and like finding lots of linked articles there. After doing one or two chats with a topic you pre-assign, you could start running polls for topics.
