Motivating African American Students in Elementary School to Read

I read "Supporting the Literacy Needs of African American Transitional Readers" by Corinne Burton. This article ties in with what our district Media Cadre is researching. We are reading Alfred W. Tatum's "Reading for Their Life," a book about motivating (AA) African American males to read.
