Hi Fellow International TL's-

I would like to set up a discussion for quick Follett Destiny questions that we might have. Although I have a customer support account at FSC, sometimes I need answers more quickly than they can get back to me on my support tickets.

If there is anyone out there that knows how to "Hide Records" in the system, I would love some help. I have some books that I have weeded due to space constraints but I don't want to purge them from my collection completely... I just want to hide them in the catalog until I have more space...

If anyone can offer any help that would be great!

Thanks-

Did you know there is a listserv for Follett questions?  See http://www.follettsoftware.com/pg92/listservs -- I have found Follett-Talk useful.

Re hidden records, I think all you have to do is set up a new Circulation Type in the Back Office - -which you could call "Weeded Books" and set it as "Hidden".  Then it won't show up in any searches -- except for those patrons with the "Access Level" set to see local and/or off-site "Hidden Materials".

Thanks Katie! I knew that someone out there would be able to point me in the right direction! I have hidden my titles successfully (and have signed up for the listserv and Follett-Talk

Have a great day-
