If you had $40K to spend on Library Upgrade?

In this hypothetical situation, imagine that the high school students already have laptops and the library has 10 computers/laptops for MS use.  So, how would you spend $40k+ to create a progressive learning commons and MS/HS library?

I am in elementary but .... if I had the $$ for ms/hs I would for one design a casual comfy place! A place they want to drop their backpacks and hang out. This is where I would investigate.. they are obviously doing something right (now it is for a metro library but the ideas/concepts would/could work in a school)

Thanks, Kathy. I love the ideas in that article!

I'm really interested in dreaming with you!  I picture different learning centers, some encouraging collaboration, some other areas encouraging reflection, all allowing for student-centered learning, BUT ALSO teacher-centered learning.
