Hispanic Heritage Month

Hi,
Is anyone doing anything special in the library for Hispanic Heritage Month? I was thinking of decorating, maybe hanging some pinatas, doing some book displays, etc...I haven't thought it through completely yet- any ideas?

Demco has a poster and bookmarks for Hispanic the month. It happens to be our district's cultural awareness focus for this year, so others will be focusing on the theme, too. I was also given some $ to purchase books that I'll feature during the month. The pinatas are a great idea and I thought I'd look for a sombrero and maracas. I thought I'd search (or ask my art teacher!) for some art by Latin American artists. I always try to find at least one plant from the area, too. Pretty basic stuff at this point. I'm curious what others will be doing, too, especially concerning activities!

I'll take a look at Demco, thanks. This might date me, but I wonder if travel agents still have posters from various countries. In fact, I wonder if there are still non-cyber travel agents! We have a large wall showcase in our entry lobby, and I was thinking of putting the Art posters on display in there. I think I'll check out the local party goods/ costume store for the sombrero and maracas...great idea!
