Interestingly we had a whole school staff meeting on this topic recently. We brain stormed what inquiry looks across the 3 programmes we offer for 5 to 17 yr olds. Basically we agreed that inquiry should be transformative and lead to deeper understanding and knowledge.

Hello, All! I just received the book in the mail. Can't wait to dive in. Hopefully, our enthusiastic participation will have an impact on the authors and the second edition will have multiple index entries for school libraries and librarians, as this one doesn't!

Hi! everybody out there. i am preparing to face the IB PYP authorisation team in a few hours from now! any lst minute sugesstions from anybody would certainly help me face the Team more confidently. Althogh i have done my best for my school, wish me luck friends. we follow Cath Murdoch's inquiry cycle...... any comments? any information will be helpful.thanks.

I love the Teacher's Go-Bag (p. 79).  As I travel inside classrooms it may be neccessary to have a few resources to instantly access if opportunity arrises. I'm very part time and need to capitaize on the time I get, great tips throughout this book.

Just watched the video companion to this book! WOW! The very next week a teacher and I started to implement inquiry circles. I also incorporated a CIRCLE MAP since this was a 2nd grade group new to inquiry circles. The kids were so into finding information. I don't think they really understood they were working. Now reading the book to do a better job with this for the next group of kids!
