Have you found that more of your junior-high and high-school students prefer print books or ebooks?

We bought Nooks to pilot this year. I have seventh and eighth graders, and I've noticed a pretty even split. A large majority of my seventh graders prefer print (probably 80%/20%), while my eighth graders are almost 50% print/50% ebooks. I would have thought there would be so many more who prefer ebooks, but that hasn't been my findings. It shows me that for our building, it was a wise decision to purchase only a small amount to test out before committing to a larger purchase.

Thanks for the input! We just got a contract with Overdrive, an ebook provider, and I was wondering how much of my budget to devote to ebooks.

We use Follett and are just now exploring the e-book possibility. I cover 3 middle schools and for now, I'm going to add a few books from each school to a district shelf, so all 3 schools can view and check out those books. I just hope it isn't too much of a hassle for students to access or they won't use it.
