Another Blog?

No way! I'm not ready for this to be my main blogging resource, though I see in some forums that there are those who are ready for this to be their primary blogging tool. I have other blogs that I can point to, and they are at:

  • Scasl Blogs! The South Carolina Association of School Librarians sponsor a blog, and I am lucky enough to be a contributor. I wish i could say it is as popular as Sunlink, or some other state association…

Mt. Juliet has changed so much since you visited Dianne. We now have a huge shopping complex with a 2nd on it's way and several thousand more homes. My parents came down to visit from Iowa and were overwhelmed with how urban MJ has become. Still while driving with my family we saw the deer last night. They still come out and look at their past resting spots as if "how could this have happened?" Too much city stuff for this small town gal.

I understand. We left big Orlando for a little small town life and are really enjoying it, but the developers are here, too...such is progress, I guess.--djb

Hello Cathy,

Thanks for inviting me as one of your friends. I see South Carolina is your home also. Beautiful country, isn't it? You have so many terrific ideas!
I need to get busy with reading them so I can learn more great, new ideas.

Sincerely,
Cheryl

Don't you love Photobucket's easy slide shows? I use it on my ...gulp...annual holiday update each Christmas. I mainly just post at that time of the year and slap a little sticker on the Christmas cards I send out for folks to visit the blog and catch up on our year. Unfortunately, when I ask people if they looked at it they mostly look puzzled (only 1 post in 3 years.) But, I'll keep at it. Eventually they'll catch on.

Mansfield University Scholarship Program – Begin in January 2012

In an ongoing effort to recruit a new generation of school library leaders, Mansfield University recently received a fifth Institute of Library and Museum Services (IMLS) grant to fund scholarships for its totally online School Library & Information Technologies Master of Education degree program with school library certification. If you know of an educator or non-certified librarian seeking school library certification, please pass along the news that we are still accepting applications for the spring 2012 semester.

The Master of Education program, ideally suited for working educators
with no time to drive to a university, offers a convenient and effective path to school library certification. For detailed information and contacts please refer to the Fulfilling the Promise homepage, at http://libweb.mansfield.edu/promise/, or contact Cynthia Keller, Department Chair ckeller@mansfield.edu
