What free websites can I find which allow me to learn how to create my own website? Thanks!

We use a teacher web site service eBoard.com Although it is "plain vanilla" it has a component called iNote. This, I think, predates blogs, but functions in the same way. I have been able to get some technophobic teachers to become "blogmasters" to beat the band. We promote the use of more advanced Web 2.0 tools (Google Docs & Notebook, Podcasting, iMovie, iPhoto, etc) via workshops that I coordinate.

Am currently a lecturer in teacher librarianship in Australia and we are using web 2 tools as part of our Grad Dip and Masters courses. Looking forward to learning new applications as our courses are totally online.

Lisa - check for the unquiet library and cool cat teacher, both from Georgia - I believe they do podcasts linked at their websites.

The librarians in my district did the 23 Things program this year and learned so much. Our program was called Learning 2.0 Through Play. Anyone is welcome to visit the program blog and do the exercises there if they want! http://learning20thruplay.blogspot.com

Our library team is currently involved in an online training program using Web 2.0 tools. Although I am finding it difficult to inspire some members who and I quote "would rather give birth than learn Web 2.0" How do you overcome such negative attitudes that jeopardise the morale of the team?

Very interested in podcasts
I am currently enrolled in a certification to become a library media specialist in south GA. None of the schools around me use podcasts but I am absolutely fascinated by them and the educational potential they hold. Can any of you tell me how you use podcasts in you school? Have you developed any policies to cover posting student podcasts over the internet?
thanks
